Terms of Service
Last updated September 11, 2026
These terms apply to the use of BackBooked, operated by Kevin Alston, a sole proprietor based in North Carolina, United States. Creating an account means agreeing to them.
What BackBooked is
BackBooked is a customer follow-up and rebooking management tool for service businesses. It stores services and customers, records completed service visits, calculates when a customer is due to return, drafts a suggested follow-up message, and tracks the revenue associated with confirmed rebookings.
BackBooked does not send messages for you
In the current version BackBooked never contacts a customer automatically. It prepares message text; Copy Message copies it to the clipboard and Text Customer opens the device's own messaging app. Sending is always an action the business owner takes personally, from their own phone or messaging account.
Your responsibilities
- You must have the authority and any permission required to enter, store, and use your customers' information in BackBooked.
- You are responsible for following the marketing, privacy, anti-spam, and messaging laws that apply to you and to the people you contact, including honouring opt-out requests.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You may not use BackBooked to send unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or unwanted messages, or to attempt to access another account's data.
Free trial
Try BackBooked free for 30 days. Add a payment method today and pay $0. After your trial, your subscription automatically continues at $19.99 USD per month unless canceled. Cancel anytime.
A payment method is required to start the trial and no charge is taken on the day it starts. Canceling before the trial ends prevents the first subscription charge, subject to any payment already properly owed. One introductory trial is available per person or business; accounts that have already used a trial or held a paid subscription are not eligible for another. Trials may be withheld where abuse of the offer is apparent.
Subscription and payment
BackBooked costs $19.99 per month, billed monthly in United States dollars. There is no contract and no minimum term. The subscription renews automatically each month until it is cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time through Manage Billing in the app.
After cancellation, access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Once that period ends, the app returns to the billing screen: your services, customers, visits, follow-ups, and rebookings remain stored and become available again as soon as you resubscribe. Cancellation and refund details are set out in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Prices may change in the future; any change will be announced before it applies to a renewal.
Your data
You keep ownership of the information you enter. How it is handled is described in the Privacy Policy. You may request account deletion from Settings.
Availability and disclaimers
BackBooked is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Considerable effort goes into keeping the service running and your data safe, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed. BackBooked does not guarantee any particular revenue, rebooking rate, or business outcome. Due dates and suggested messages are aids to the owner's judgement, not advice.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, liability arising from use of BackBooked is limited to the amount paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim, and does not extend to indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Suspension and termination
An account may be suspended or closed if these terms are breached, if payment fails repeatedly, or if the account is used unlawfully. You may stop using BackBooked at any time by cancelling your subscription.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. Material changes will be posted here with a new last-updated date, and continued use after that date means the updated terms apply.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts located in North Carolina have jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions can be sent through the support request form.
